I had the same issue. I moved my sim to a house and have had no further issues. Sucks because I miss my apartment and the cheaper rent!

I said I wouldn’t go on the game till the bug was fixed but I threw caution to the wind and had a look. I loaded and went straight into 920 Medina apartment. And the bug has affected my game, I quit without saving. Is there anyway to fix this or I have I just gotta sit on my hands till EA releases an emergency patch?

Its the Culpepper apartments that triggered it. Specifically 19, 18, 17. I hadn’t had this problem until today when I put households and furnishings in them. They were vacant for the longest until now but all the other ones were working fine. But now things are disappearing in every Culpepper apartment and some of the other ones.

Wow if you think about it it’s even worst then it sounds. You need to basically avoid an entire gameplay that you paid 40 dollars for (or less for those that got City Living during a sale). Either way though this is bad. EA truly is making themselves look bad the past couple of weeks and this is just the cherry on the ice cream!

200% agreed to the person (Amy B.) that agreed to Simmytime! I would love to know why the “Plumbob” EA releases a game before testing out for bugs. Shouldn’t it be reversed!

That particular problem you describe sounds like the one that has been happening in the game since the beginning. The solution to that is to go into the lot from the map and add and/or remove an item (I usually do both to be on the safe side). Then save and you can buy the lot furnished.

This new glitch seems to occur even when sims visit other apartments, go into build/buy on apartments that they own, or switch families. It’s totally unacceptable and I’m highly annoyed they haven’t fixed it yet. They are too busy releasing their Shamster Pack.

Sort of found a way around the glitch, but it means only being able to have 2 active apartments instead of 4, at least in regards to Culpepper. 17 and 20 Culpepper have to be vacant, then 18 and 19 will work normally (or the other way around, I assume), even during remodels, visits, and whatnot. Yep, no disappearing furniture or clutter! Haven’t tested the other buildings, but I’m assuming ones with 2 rentals won’t work, but those with 3 or 4 rentals would; however, 3 would allow only 1 rental to be livable. Not a great workaround, but it’ll do for me until this glitch is fixed, which is SOON, I hope!

Glad It’s not just me and the fire pits. Was using them in the jungle and no marshmallows, fish, hot dogs, beetles, anything… or PLAY interaction.
