I am impressed with the attention to small details like this, a little change that makes the item more funtional, and adds realism/immersion to the game. This kind of details makes the EP much more appealing to me. I have never cared much for the seasons EPs before, but this time i find myself being very excited for its release, i think the Sims 4 desperately needs the variation seasons EP brings with it.

This way, the strays wont be affected by the extreme heat/coldness. I think it is a missed oppourtunity to make the pet clothes functional, serving an actual purpose. It would have been cool (no pun intended) to have to dress the short furred dogs/cats into some warm coat/boots for them to better withstand the cold weather.

There is a discussion about sales, and some even provided a link. A quick google search may be able to help you. I also searched it on the past, and there is a website that shows the number of units sold of The Sims games.

Those half baked console ports, and as far as the charts go Sims 3 sold total of 7 million copies for 5 years. Meanwhile The Sims 4 already sold 5 million in two years(2016), and That is before Toddlers, Vampires, Pets, and Parenthood was released. With the addition of Seasons then EA can expect a boost on sales. Not to mention, Sims 4 wouldn’t be on the best selling games list on pc for two years in a row if it wasn’t selling very well. The 5 million was on 2016. With the release of the anticipated packs from 2017, and another highly anticipated pack this year, There is a huge chance that Sims 4 was already over 5M Copies, not to mention the consoles are just launched last year, which brings on new players.
