I know my comment is late but I think with the amount of money and staff EA has for The Sims, I honestly believe they really can pull off a hell of a lot more than what they do dish out. If modders can do it without everything that this company has at their disposal as well as the extra hands to do it, then we should definitely have more. Or hire the modders to make the stuff and then buy it from them, something like that. Anyways as far as having time to make something, someone made a very good comment on a vid I saw on YouTube of pretty much every Sims trailer and back in 2013 they put out 3 EPs for TS3 so…..

Why oh why has the terminology and wording in this mod been kept to a level that would be safe for pretty much anyone to see and THEN on the quick huck up screen, when other Sims contact you, has she used the F word? Breaks all immersion for me. Although, it’s not a mod I plan on using anyway so my input isn’t exactly relevant.

I love LittleMsSam’s mods and use tons of them, but this isn’t something she made within days in response to it not being in Seasons. She announced that she was working on this mod in her Discord channel months ago. It was in testing two weeks ago.

As others have said, often modders can focus on specific things they want in the game and then do it because they have no bosses or time or budgetary constraints and in addition if parts of it don’t work optimally, they can just release it anyway because no one is paying for it. It’s a completely different situation from an actual game dev.

I think online dating would’ve fit better with city living and just because someone makes a amazing mod for something doesn’t mean that it won’t be made for the game. Grant also didn’t say they couldn’t do it, he just said they didn’t.
Also we can all tell you over and over that someone making a amazing mod isn’t the same thing as someone working for a company, with bosses,budgets and a deadline.
I honestly feel like EA stopped giving a freak about Sims because it’s has such a smaller audience compared to their other titles.

I want a tell all from a ex Sims 3/4 employee. I bet it was hell tbh.

And I do think online dating is something they’d give out for a patch, but then again maybe I’m a little too hopeful and postive.
