Lol, as a Michigander, I can tell you, plenty of snow storms happened when the sun is bright and beeming! But they are cloud systems in the game. We can go from partly cloudy to overcast!

It snows (and rains) sometimes when it’s sunny outside. Sunshowers it’s called for rain, dunno what it’s called for snow.

As for the image above … remember that all images that are released and/or come with blog posts like this one, aren’t screenshots. They’re almost renders. They’re designed to sell the pack, and so no detail is left to chance. Same goes for the trailers. And a bright, sunny image is more appealing than a gloomy, cloudy one.

If you look at the gifs that have been shared with us, however, it’s a different story. Those have been chosen to sell the pack, as well, but not nearly as carefully as “official” “screenshots”. They were also generated by the respective dev team members, not the marketing team (which I suspect these images are). And in almost all of those, if it’s snowing, the atmosphere is satisfyingly overcast. Just check out these gifs, they make me want to curl up under a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate:

Why is it still sunny when it’s snowing? Does it snow from space or something? It should be cloudy!!!! This has always bugged me tbh.

I went into the game, and from what I could see with the placement of those specific buildings in the background, it very much looks like this has been taken from where normally the karaoke bar is. I didn’t say the food stalls couldn’t appear in the other worlds either, just from that picture, that wasn’t clear to me 🙂 I’m happy to hear that they do appear in other worlds though.

No its the common area in the spice market and its been confirmed they’ll appear in all worlds

This is just a lot in the world they’ve build on, so I’m not so sure about the food stalls appearing in other expansion pack worlds.

uhhh, the winter in san myshuno looks great! and the new food stalls will appear in other expansion pack worlds (at least in san myshuno)? that’s neat!
