Other holidays I made are:

– “Simdependence Day/Midsimmer” (bc I am Swedish-American and they are similar enough in game) with Party Spirit, BBQ, Fireworks, Water Fun, and Streaking… lol
– “All Fools Eve” (April Fools) with Mischief, Streaking again (bc why not) Fighting, Gift Giving, Airing Grievances (bc for crotchety folks like myself who hate getting pranked).
– “Saint Plumbob Day” (saint patty’s day/mardi gras inspired) with Party Spirit, drinking, Fire, costumes, and art and music.
– “Egg Day” (Easter, i struggled to come up with a name for this one lol, if anyone has any better ideas for a name lmk) with art and music, flower bunny, egg hunting, decorating, and baking!
– “Game Day” (a nonspecific sports summer event for those who like the World Cup – aka football everywhere else, American football, summer Olympics, etc.) with sports tv, games, exercise, drinking, and airing grievances when your team disappoints you.
– and lastly, “Spooky Day” of course! Mischief, spookiness, consumes, decorating, and trick or treating, duh.

Tbh I love this holiday system. I want to keep thinking of more holidays! I want to add the Lucia to my calendar but I might make it an event instead since I don’t want all sims in my world to partake. I’m curious to hear what everyone else’s holidays and ideas for holidays are!
