Well… actually, I’m in my late twenties and I had a lot of fun with Late Night, some fun with Showtime, and especially loved Superstar (but yes, I was a kid then). While I certainly don’t give a flying expletive about Gen Z celebrities (or even the acting career they’re advertising), I won’t shoot this down until I see more, because I would like them to bring modeling, fashion, and bands back. If these things aren’t in it I might hate it too LMAO. Time willl tell. I like to play with single young adult households and not families personally so…

I DO empathize with you that it is disappointing when you see an EP you don’t want when we are so starved for content. If this were a supernatural EP, I know sooo many players would lose their minds, but I would be furious haha. I hate lifestates. I currently want more traits and careers, an overhaul of sims personalities (like a wants/fears system), a university/active school system for all ages, and transportation the most right now… but this new EP could be fun. Maybe.

…Except for no Supernatural toggles, or custom EP toggles in general in TS4 (ie with weather in worlds in Seasons). This makes me worry because the horrible paparazzi parasites from TS3 weren’t fixed until toggles were implemented… same with the contagious celebrity bug affecting all townies. The latter might be better though now that we don’t have story progression, however.

At first I was disappointed when I saw this… the celebrity thing is niche and only works with a few Sims. IRL I’m not too interested in celebs. However, I had fun with Sacrifical’s mod, and remember hoping for an official version of it because I hoped they might bring back modeling back from Superstar. It would be great to add more to the photography, social media, and upcoming stylist career in this game. I loved Superstar in TS1 back in the day… there was so dang much in that pack lol. If there’s going to be fame, I want it to at least add to some of the elements already in game besides just a new acting career, which tbh doesn’t interest me. Bring back drums/bands from Late Night and I’ll be PUMPED. The potentially new world looks dope tho, and I don’t hate the outfit choices for once (the new hair though… meh).

I really had fun with that mod! It definitely was bugged though. I played the model/influencer path, and it never let me have a photoshoot on location… well it did, but it never worked properly with photographer and MUA spawns. I hope they bring back modeling in this pack!

I thought the scandal system was good in theory but some of the things Sims got accused of or reported about didn’t make sense depending on the situation.

I won’t be getting this more boring stuff unless they have exciting clothes, wish they would come up with something more interesting same old same. I am not interesting in becoming a celebrity I wish they would make more careers that the Sims could participate in not this go to work and disappear.

Oh.. first expansion what I really not interested… :/ hate that superstar stuff like that creepy fans and paparazzi ..real nightmare for any sim 😀
