The 30M in downloads does include consoles. It’s clear the game is doing well, or EA would shut down the studio.

But I’m not giving up on 4, I’m one of the few who do like it and can’t stand playing 3. But that’s just me. I hope with The Sims 5 (if we get it) that they listen to our requests. Have the game come with Toddlers, cool the emotions or at least see if they can reuse them, having weather in the base game would be great. As for cats and dogs, I think it should always be an EP.

All of them play with those number because, if you play with them, you can tell what you want to tell with them. Wake up, this has been like this forever. On that same report they say NFL 19 is great and player are loving it when that’s not really true.

The latter implies that you believe they are fudging the series’ sales performance while the former is your personal opinion.

And apart from simulation lag I’ve come across with several “standard lag” with a very solid PC.

Console is probably included.

All sims games had cc and mods. Also sims 4 is not as stable as they claim. The game is filled with bugs, and the new gameplay added is usually rushed and not done properly.

The simulation lag (where Sims stand around for a bit without doing anything and before starting their next action), isn’t really lag in the traditional, hardware sense. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the specs of your computer. It’s a bug in the AI system of the Sims (or it could be by design, for whatever reason, but if it is, then it’s a very questionable design choice).

I said TS4 sold well, that obvious. But that doesn’t mean it’s a good game, because overall it’s not. Yeah, it has nice additions like new CAS and “””performace””” (quoting because performance is no that good either, had tons of simulation lag on a more than capable machine and game is more and more buggy every update) but we lost so many things at the same time. I see a 4 on The Sims 4, so I guess it should be an improvement of The Sims 3. Of course we all know the problem here is that The Sims 4 is in fact The Sims Olympus and they simple rushed and try to save the game on the very last moment. We are playing a online game but without online component and that’s why The SIms 4 will never be a complete or good game, it’s very limited by its own base tech and conception.

It is not launched under a different title, rest is your personal speculation and bias towards the latest sims addition, nothing else.

You can not ignore major improvements made in TS4 over its predecessors (for instance remarkable performance of the client) and massive amount of fan made content, which implies the game is actively played and supported. It is not about you or me liking/disliking the game. It is giving credit where it is due and acnowlinging like an adult, that the latest addition to the franchise performs adequately.

I do not see a problem with using “Download”, you are free to interpret the word however you see fit.
