I suppose witches are easier to be creative with because “it’s magic” covers most logic bases. I’m not sure what could be done with aliens honestly ..
Because into the future was the last ts3 ep I’d guess they are holding off for a bit and because it’s such a huge broad feature I highly doubt it would be base game …

They could have been so fun to play. As they are, I find them just annoying and inconsequential. I know folks are really into witches, but me I’d so thrilled if they did something with aliens. Also if they ARE doing time travel, I hope it’s a base game item so they can make all the GP and EPs around that concept as they want.

Just a heads up you said less than 3 traits, not more than. But I think we should be able to choose the amount of traits, or even (as a setting that can be turned off) “earn them” especially through childhood and teen years in a similar system to the quirks. Not sure if that would be overly irritating, who knows. I doubt they’d ever upgrade aliens, because I agree they are boring but they rarely add to already payed for content … Why would they when they can charge for it separately. I don’t care as much about TV shows because their such a minute detail and there’s far larger things I’d like fixed or added first.

For starters how about just provide more trait options and give option to have >3 traits! Have hobbies that could go very nicely with the various expansions and packs. There are also 2 things in game I’d love for them to update: 1) upgrade aliens and make them more fun and easy to play! Such a missed opportunity in Get to Work. And then also can they pleeeease add some new movies and shows to watch on TV!

my married Sims couple would pillow talk and cuddle in bed and a visible wedding ring on their hands
Little details and meaningfull in depth gameplay.
