What do you mean by not always equal relationships?

We still can’t forget the nonsense that is GuruDrake (she will not be missed) and the horrible skin update. I haven’t been able to play with mods for a while so I got my money’s worth out of the game. Jungle Adventure was okay too. I still think the game has quite a ways to improve on but we’ll see what comes to the table for this year.

I agree that Jungle Adventures is also a lot of fun, though, as well, and I too was pleasantly surprised by Get Famous (played it over Christmas with my six year old niece and she had a ball). I would also like to add some praise for all the amazing (and in some cases long overdue) free content we got this year, including the long-awaited terrain tools, the improved gardening system, the extra career, the first person POV, and the Caribbean-themed and winter objects (including sliding doors), as well as new meals — all are really great and add some nice new elements to the gameplay.

Yes! I get on better with people with similar interests, and maybe ages as well? I probably get on better with people my own age then older people (especially in regards to kids/teens). I’d love interests, especially if we got a decent amount of activities (some more after school activities could be cool – maybe some sports teams, not sure what else). New activities would also be fun, sports (like football), not sure what else tough. Yes, using them for both – afterall if you have a good friendship with someone you should have a good romantic relationship with them. Just general friendship stuff as well as traditional romance, I think there should be some element of chance, there’s some people who you just don’t like in life.

I know IP wouldn’t really work very well (or at least the boathouse/diving/island exploration part of it), although I can see resort management fitting in with the other businesses we have in the game. I just really like the idea of house boats IDK why XD, I think part of it is just wanting something different you know. Boat houses offer such a unique lifestyle and the limited space/awkward layout offers a challenge. I think it doesn’t have to be boat houses, it was just the example we had before, I just want something unique to make my sims lives more diverse. I’m guessing we might get some kind of beach resort/summer vacation themed GP (I doubt they’d make a full EP out of it given the trend with vacation themed packs) at some point in the future. So those features might come in there? Altough to have a new world with a beach they’d need probably need to squeeze it into an EP somehow.

I agree in the fact, other then a couple of the objects from laundry day farming would seem a bit “random” in the very modern/city themed style Ts4 seems to have. Although I guess it could be a welcome break/new style, but of course that relies on them creating enough items to create a cohesive theme that immerses you and makes the whole pack as a whole make sense. More of a reason to grow/make your own produce could definitely be fun especially with an expansion on its creation, maybe some exclusive recipes you could pick up similarly to the city living ones from the little stalls (the “farmers market” could even work a bit like the festivals or even just a permanent little square or something with the market). However I think for many players $6 wouldn’t be enough of an incentive to go and grow the bread stuff, make bread and also get the milk from the cow. A more “convenient” way would work of course, but that could make a lot of the “farming” aspect to waste, so I think they may need to be other benefits (other than the financial aspect of course). I think the sims could even partner with some sort of “eco living/save the environment” agency or something for all the solar panels etc. The sims could even sell excess energy for money and/or reduce their bills – possibly entirely! Expanded weddings and (if possible) other events like funerals, sleepovers etc. make life a bit spicier you know.

Japan! I love Japan, and some inspired items could be cool. Especially technology, not only maybe things like arcades but also laptops, VR headsets (more accurate then those weird huge things), expanded/better tablets, e-readers etc. Just expanding the world with the future, services robots could make a comeback. Teenagers are definitely lacking in the weird “not child – toys suck” not adult “no job just stuck on at school”stage which makes them kinda meh to play. Maybe a skate park or something as well?

The lot sizes do seem inaccurate, I was playing (or rather starting) a little save, possibly to become a rags to riches, just a lot with a tiny trailer and the basic facilities (literally cheapest essential appliances and TV) left me with only about $600. Gave up on that because acting was broken.. hopefully that’ll be fixed soon or I wasted half the money to get Get famous (at least it was half price). The world does seem a bit “half finished” and definitely needed a third area, also a few more “social lots”, a couple clubs/bars and a gym isn’t really what you’d expect in a city. Still really pining for shops you can run from home (multi-lots), maybe other multi lots as well. And maybe even “apartments” but with shops/other “public” lots to save space, imagine a downtown cheap shopping area in a “true mirage park” inside this kinda cheap dingy apartment sort of complex thing almost like a mall? And maybe even apartments above it.

I think that the space saving options would definitely go with custom built apartments, I wonder if they’ll go for the at risk of death items again? if they do I hope you can disable them because sometimes I just want to play a cheapskate/poor sim for a story without them spontaneously dying. I’m not entirely see if bunkbeds will ever be added as I believe the devs previously stated they are really hard to code, still a nice addition none the less. The idea of loft beds, have so much potential, even just raised beds where you can add your own assortment of desk/cupboard etc. Or even one of those convertible sofa beds? So much potential!

I enjoy bouncing ideas about, especially with people who take the time to reply with good long replies like you do! (Thank you!) Two heads are better then one! You think of things I’d never think of. We each have our own ideals, and hopefully one they we’ll get a game a “perfect” sims one day, be it 4, 5 or a new franchise entirely.

It wouldn’t even have to be “attraction” per se, just maybe a +1 happy moodlet around sims with similar interests (remember interests? those were cool) as your sims, as well as a boost in relationship gain (both romantic and regular). I like the idea of an “attraction” system that works equally well for romance or bromance.

I’m actually not crazy about the idea of boathouses returning, because of the lack of an open world (tbh not crazy about seeing cars return for the same reason) but also because they were buggy and laggy and didn’t add much to the game beyond the novelty factor. IP was one of those expansion packs that had a lot more potential than it actually delivered imo. However, I wouldn’t exactly complain about the return of beach lots or the ability to build over water, lol.

Tbh farming wouldn’t work as well in S4 as it would have in S3, mainly because there isn’t so much of a focus on groceries in S4. In S3 my sims never paid a dime for food because they grew everything; in S4 having produce on hand offers such a small bonus to cooking that it’s far more economical to sell the produce outright. A great tie-in to farming imo would be groceries — either purchased from a farmer’s market (for an extra boost in quality) or from a new grocery store lot, or “delivered” (for a fee) straight to your fridge. I’d also love to see eggs and cheese return. Maybe even some other staples like bread (with a corresponding bread maker of course). So a grilled cheese sandwich would cost to make either: a. $0 (with cheese and bread in inventory), b. $3 (with either cheese or bread in inventory), or c. $6 (with neither in inventory). But both cheese and bread cost $2 each at either the grocery store or farmer’s market, and each comes with six servings, so it’s way more economical to either go grocery shopping or raise and make your own ingredients. And, naturally, you’d make your own cheese (for a spike in quality) from milk you got from your cow, and make your own bread from wheat you grew in your garden. Or maybe skip the making process entirely and just throw some wheat and milk into a skillet and have a grilled cheese sandwich emerge through the magic of Sims Convenience. Just some ideas. Like you said, eco living (with solar panels, a water pump, whatever else) would be easy to fit in there. So would a rustic wedding, as a rustic theme would be obvious for the pack, so a lot of included items could easily double as rustic wedding decor. Just add that pretty dress that has an option with or without the jacket and you’re good to go. I’d also like to see barn doors return, although those are probably inevitable in a farming pack.

I’d also love to see an arcade stuff pack. It would pair nicely with the bowling pack, for the ultimate hangout lot for teens. But some Japanese inspired items in the game would be so awesome.

Amusingly enough, the lack of lots in Del Sol Valley doesn’t annoy me as much as the lots they do have. How is a 40 x 30 lot considered a “starter” lot and affordable by people who aren’t staggeringly rich, in a world that’s specifically modeled after LA, a place famous for its crazy expensive real estate? Or, worse, a 50 x 40? Because those are the sizes of the lots in Mirage Park, the “starter” neighborhood. And, okay, I lied, the absence of a middle-ground neighborhood bothers me. Mirage Park should have been the middle-ground neighborhood (full of lots half those sizes), and there should have been another neighborhood with two or three TRUE starter lots that are 20 x 20 or even 15 x 20 and feature some “fixer-upper” lot traits à la City Living. And, yes, APARTMENTS. Because the lack of apartments in a bustling city just because that city isn’t San Mychuno is stupid on so many levels.

Murphy beds and/or other “convertable” furniture (like, for example, a true futon) would be so cool. Bunk beds are nice, but I don’t think I ever used them myself. But, like you said, including them in University would be easy. Lots of college students have loft beds in their tiny rooms, so they can stick a desk underneath, and I’ve heard of dorm rooms with bunk beds before. Maybe for the cheap college? Because I’d love to see the return of more than one school available to choose from.

I also like listening to other’s feelings and ideas! I’d nothing else it reminds me just how diverse the fandom truly is.
