with all the complaints and no thank you or very little positive thoughts
i dont blame them.
I do want to thank ea/origin for the fantastic sale they had recentlly (got the whole set so far now)
and if you really look at all the item we have gotten there is alot of varity.

rugs lots of different looks etc and play the game with imagination it can be fun..

No i do agree with you. By family packs I mean generations. A parenthood game pack or stuff packs is no substitute for an expansion. Just like vampires were a game pack.

I enjoyed the crap out of supernatural when it launched. It was a fun distraction until seasons came out.

Im advocating for expansions. Thats why im not dragging “Get Famous” even though that gameplay doesnt appeal to me whatsoever.

If they are going to do the supernatural, do an expansion. Not divvy it up into small, overpriced packs.

Been playing the sims since they first came out, and I have not noticed any bugs in TS2. That being said, glitches or not, speaking for myself and others I personally know, TS2 had more to offer as far as game play, vacations, burglars, playing musical instruments as a group and custom content was never broken with patches, updates or adding new EPs. While creating sims is much better in TS4 and sims don’t get stuck (waiting for a sim to move out of the way), non-played sims age as yours do, etc.,I always find myself going back to either TS2 or TS3 because game play is better and

Some people seem to like it and others hate it. Personally, I like them to age so they can have grown up friends and such. As long as they can’t die from old age, I’m satisfied. I prefer that kind of consistency.

You can’t truthfully say there are “no bugs” at all in the game. There are always some, whether you notice them or not. It would be more accurate to say there are not any significant bugs.

A pack wasn’t necessary, but there are so damn many bugs that need to be fixed. The fact that they put time into that Alexa crap instead of making have a patch that could fix game breaking bugs is infuriating.

Agreed. They don’t care about classic Sims fans. They care about the teenagers who don’t care about missing/watered-down content and can stay satisfied with mediocre packs for a long time. Majority also probably aren’t spending their own money, but rather their parents’.

The fact that they spend all of their time on Twitter and integrate social media tweens into the game is the biggest indicator that they don’t care about the original Sims fans anymore. And, sadly, because of this, I don’t see the game getting any better. :/

I don’t think it’s better, it’s just different. Criticizing, however, might be a bit more healthy for your mental sanity. But they don’t like criticism anyway so we are kinda lost in the middle of it all.
