Since critical components of the game, like an attraction system or distinguished personalities, are still not in the game FIVE years down the line. If they will be implemented, which I doubt, they are obviously coming in the end, Since the Sims 4 will end eventually. You know that right?

They released seasons last year and pets a year ago and several non-must have packs in between. So they do release essential packs with a reasonable pause between them. I think what you guys don’t understand is that they are capable of doing both at the same time just like they always have and probably always will. I don’t recall people being this annoyed when they announced jungle adventures. Just admit you don’t like this pack for personal reasons so we can move on.

Honestly, if they were going to do any of those things that was listed, then they should have done those first. There is no point building a a faulty foundation. Plus I severely doubt they are going to be able to fix and integrate all the basics within the next couple of years. The Sims 4 is already 5 years old, it’s not wise to keep creating content for an old game, especially if the game had a faulty foundation.

ok,I see your point. They should have walkingsticks and hearingaids at least ! / I use the club-system to engage my elders in appropriate activities, they meet up and are mean to people and it´s fun. They also make great grandparents and have homes one can visit over christmas ,or they can just be extra-parents when my adults are invested in careers etc. So, not exactly useless. They can always walk the dog.

I’m pumped. I totally want weirder stuff. I got bored with simulating normal life in the game so I made a new save based on Welcome to Nightvale and it seems like this pack is going to fit the theme perfectly (glow cloud, smiling god, desert town, menacing government agencies). I don’t particularly care about University. I understand why people are upset about it because there are a lot of other things they can fix or add, but don’t act like no one wants this. Not everyone plays like you. I’m excited for it.

it doesn’t make sense to leave integral parts for the end. That’s faulty prioritizing, it that’s the case, since there’s key elements the game needs to be good that should be addressed frist, not experimental packs.
