I bought this pack for the laptops not the game itself; I’m disappointed in this pack because it also took the science analysis machine that I would use for my sims to gain logic other than the chess game or the telescope. I did solve the mystery but that was also not as fun because if your sims are paranoid then they’re not really the making of friends type or the hugging type & it goes against the grain of what being paranoid means to me. For the laptops they are ok but there’s not an option to put it in & take it out of the sims inventory to use them anywhere. You have to drag the laptop in & out of their inventory.

If they really didn’t do anything about it, than screw EA.
I’m saying, that it might be not as black or white, as it may sound.

There is proof that EA has known about this for like 4 months. You would know this if you had done some reading before you decided to tell everyone else that they don’t know what they are talking about. There’s not much more to say about that.

I see your point. I was avoiding those mods as well… but I wasn’t patient enough… so I started to put some of the good stuff into my game… Otherwise, I would have stopped playing the Sims 4. The thing is, to prepare my self to play the game feels like a mini-job. My GF said, sometimes I’m having the facial expression, as I would be at work before I click on the play button in Origin. XD

Now please don’t get me wrong, but what are you all talking about???
Any kind of harassment should be punished by the law, and everyone who’s proven to be guilty should get his/her sentence.
BUT!
You’re acting like EA would be the police or some kind of law enforcement organisation.
And are you sure about the cover-up?
Everyone is innocent till the point his/her guilt is proven.
On the other hand, I don’t really know what happened there in the background, neither does anyone here. There might have been some legal policies, they have to follow in cases like these.
If it really was the case of cover-up, it should be handled by the authorities, and not by people like you and me…

Yup. This is a new low. I was already incredibly disappointed with the direction the franchise took last year, but now I’m utterly appalled by it. All of it is just awful! And the worst part is how disposable we are to EA, the Gurus and the Game Changers. I knew that In a way, but I never considered their disdain would extend to covering for a sexual predator. Ugh.

This whole thing is beyond disturbing, and not at all what I expected to read when I came online today. I cant believe how the sims team has handled this whole thing. They have known about it for so long. I hope there will be serious consequences for both the gamechanger an the people who tried to cover this up. Especially Kate and Steve.

I know this maybe the wrong place to put this, but I am disgusted by the way SG Kate and the other gurus decided to cover for a child predator. The predator in question is DylanSimz, and hestepped down as a Game Changer today. But SG Kate was contacted by one of the victims 4 months ago yet never saw fit to warn the community of the dangers.

Since the Game Changer program is sanctioned by EA, they bear the responsibility of elevating a predator like this to a bigger platform. They should have done something to prevent other minors from becomIng victims. And don’t forget that this Game Changer volunteered to step down. I’m very, very livid with this whole situation.

Want to just fast-forward to end of content production for this game so I can start loading some of the really good mods out there that make the game SO MUCH better. Avoiding them right now so I don’t get into the endless break-fix-update-break-fix-update cycle.
