What I choose to do and/or not do is my concern, and my concern only. What or who I choose to spend my money or time on is none of your concern.

I honestly can not comprehend how my not wanting to go play an already poor game, being cemented by the fact that the team behind have made decisions that I don’t aligned with, affects you in any way. If you read my comment, you’ll see that I said the Sims 4 was already dull and that I haven’t played it in a while anyway. I don’t know about you, but finding out about a hidden pedophile ring with OVER 10 VICTIMS, is NOT going to reel me back in.

You’re also acting as if I’m the first and only person to do something like this. Did you hear about people boycotting Nike/the NFL because of the take a knee situation? Did you have a problem with that? Are you against all forms of protest? I hope you would be consistent. I wouldn’t even constitute what I’m doing as a form of protest, but the game makes me uncomfortable and that’s fine!

I’m not telling people to not play the game. I just don’t want this to be forgotten quickly, as that will only lead to history repeating itself. If you have seen me commenting the same thing in every comment, you will should also have seen that there are people who still don’t know what happened.

I don’t play TS4 but that is because I never liked the game to begin with. Not because maybe someone involved with the game did something bad.
It is your choice what to do or not but to be consistent the next time you are interested in a game you might ask the game developers and everybody involved in making the game to send you their CV’s and criminal record. Just to be sure you don’t get in with bad people and give money to people who aren’t worthy .

Other than that, I’m pretty sure there was some kind of internal Maxis directive to clam up years ago, assuming Grant didn’t just issue it himself and then claim he was bound by it.

I think the real problem is there was so much hate and venom from customers, and so little to actually show off that it became impossible to get any good press from revealing stuff ahead of time. Seems like they just decided the less said the better.
