I would understand that it would be totally basic cars patched in and the bare essentials so it would work for everyone -and then a fancy game pack that added more cars, and maybe even cool objects and interactions maybe even a mechanic career!

But I also want to swim in the ocean, sun tan, and take a tropical vacation as well. But I’d like to drive my own car there LOL

Beyond that, everything else would be extra. I love the singer career from Sims 3, but I have Sims 3 for that. I have learned when they gave us Sims 2 back that you can enjoy two series at once and it isn’t a bother, other than sometimes looking for an object for 20 minutes that is actually in the other series lol and that’s because Sims 2 and 3 are almost identical in terms of objects.

And while there are maybe a couple of other things I would have liked to have seen (sunburning etc.) but I really enjoyed the things that we got.

To me it makes no sence that they left out sun tan, its unrealistic
Barely any summer activities
You have to buy spooky stuff to carve pumpkin
a lot of annoyance – not everyone is tense when a storm is out.
Why does the thermostat not work autonomsly. Why do you have to buy it in every community lot?

Why is there even a hot weather Outfit? Every Sim looks ridicouless that way.
You can not set your own Season lenght
There is no weather forcast for the other Worlds
The Thing were you can change the weather takes forever and fails often. its annoying.
Sims can not roller or ice skate together anymore why?

Sure they took a lot of shortcuts and it’s no where near the level of Sims 3 seasons, but for Sims 4 it adds a lot of stuff. I do have issues with some of the things they did with the pack, but I felt the good outweighed the bad.

I do agree though that they were lazy with that pack. The snowball fights (and all the other versions) do not work as advertised, the objects in the open areas have no scripting to call sims to them. Basic functions like changing out of outerwear when going indoors was left out. A lot of laziness, but for $40 I feel it came with a good selection of content compared to many of the other expansions.
