As such, can easily walk into the house of nearly any unknown Sim, and walk out a few hours later with a gold date done with little effort.
Good to note you can ask to go on a date, and select the lot you’re currently at, their home, your home, it’s all good. Helpful if pursuing serial romance aspiration, as it allows privacy. Can also queue up a couple further socials past ask on date, and they’ll continue if destination is the same lot.
Only real issue I’ve run into sometimes (other than Lily Feng glitching flirty moodlets off), is seducing an unknown married Sim while their partner is around. A common first thing to do for me is getting a gold date done with Nancy Landgraab divorced, engaged, and in the sack by 3PM day 1, at her own house, with Malcolm & Geoffrey bumbling around, which runs into the above problem. Typically, once friend relationship achieved, it’s good. Quicker solution is to acquire flirty moodlet, use “kiss hand” or “offer rose” (or flirty introduction if available) to give them a flirty moodlet also, and problem solved. The Lily Feng unflirty challenge can be solved if your Sim has the genius trait, as she does to, allowing genius social abuse for platonic relationship gain to good friend.
Of course, gold dates can also be completely unromantic with the middle goal track just for that. I don’t see the point, but it’s there if you want it.
