I think if a door color, hindered building and/or storytelling, those builders and/or storytellers, aren’t very good at it. Unless it’s a door story, or door house that is.

Right, you only really put them up so Sims can enter and exit areas. The rooms are the focus, not the doors.

It seems EA thinks, The Sims fans are gonna be super excited over swatches for doors. I agree, why not just say it’s for doors, why hype anything.

So you actually want 350 different designs for doors? That’s all swatches are, why would anyone need 350? You do realize people pay for this game, right? I’ve been fine, with the free content, but only doors, why? There’s literality millions of things that can be improved to make the game better. So they went for doors, how wonderful.

I always played with half walls since Sims 2. So I see half of the lot doors – some of them yeah, some not. So frankly I don’t care that they don’t match precisely with everything, as long as it’s not as ridiculous as Sims 1 where nothing matched at all and all the rooms looked like a clown exploded there. I raise the walls when I want to take a pic. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like to decorate and such but I see enough of my deco with half walls.

However all I ask for is some basic wood watches, like light wood, medium, dark etc. And not only for doors and such but also furniture, specially beds, chairs and desks. And this is already too much to ask for apparently.
