True. Would be nice to set skills, careers and starting funds manually instead of going through a tedious quiz.

So loving the new look but creating a new Sim is gonna annoy a lot of Simmers now cos the ''random'' trait button is now gone and the traits are now locked in, ya cannot change them, that's gonna suck for a lot of Simmers and the new plumbob is different but I wish the SimGuru's can just leave things how they are. And I hope the dine out bug is fixed where the Sims randomly steal other Sims food is fixed cos I do want to have a ''nice meal'' at my restaurant in Sulani And furthermore the screenshot saga happening where each time you capture the UI, it doesn't capture the UI period, hope that gets fixed soon too.

I just need the surveillance van, the volcano parts, and some satellite dishes. The mini fissures/steam vents are hilarious also, and I can find a few uses for the vapor effect as well.

I really like the idea of intelligent trait selection, and hidden character stats which could later be incorporated into a story-driven feature set, and this really shows that the devs have greater comprehension of what players want to do with The Sims 4. The new branding, free items, and renders, look fantastic as well, but I tend to get complacent, and would rather not see any changes, as I’m sure most wouldn’t. If story-driven features and object accessibility are on the schedule, then I’ll truly be excited for the next updates, as well as packs of all types and sizes!

I’ll second that. I was getting tired of waiting for my system to associate all of the strings with prototype class IDs, after every update. Hopefully the volcano components are in the list!

Oh great. So now not only do I have to worry about the book series I read deciding to redesign the covers half way through a series, none of my newer Sims 4 packs are going to match with the older ones. (For those wondering why this matters on a digital product, I print out box covers so that I can display them.)
The CAS Stories seems like a neat gimmick but it would have been nicer if we had the option to set *exactly* what we wanted for our Sims without having to go through a personality quiz that might not even give us the results we were after.

I really like the new look, but I can see some people don’t want it to change. But I think it just over all uses the space more properly then when we had to slide down to see packs. Also the stories thing is cute, it was always annoying how all sims stared the same but now we have some slight personality adjustments. And thank god we got the debug items, it was so annoying to have to cheat to get them. I really like this update idea.

Not a fan of the new look…Somehow they managed to make a new logo that looks even more dated than the previous one…Why can they not just leave something well enough alone and focus on things that fans actually care about?
