This pack comes with 2 worlds and the livable one only has 5 lots! And only 1 lot is buildable in the magic world! So we’re coming from worlds like Willow Creek, Oasis Springs and Newcrest with all these editable lots at our disposal to Magnolia Promenade sized worlds now. Are they serious and then they want to show us a waterfall. For what? Unless mermaids can live in it, unless sims can swim in it, dive off of it or woohoo can be done in it, it’s a useless showcase. Show me these 5 “astounding” livable lots that’ll cost us $20.

As for learning magic, the gurus made it sound like there are different levels and types because they said a sim could go “deep” into one branch or combine several, or max them all out (the word used was “over max” I believe).

The three different sages in the magic realm also apparently teach the three different branches. It sounds like sims can fail at spells too. This is just a guess, but I don’t think your sims will unlock spells or abilities by levelling up a skill but by other means. It all sounds intriguing to me.

I’ve played S2 witches and S3 genies (haven’t activated my Supernatural in the launcher yet) and the spells are small and lame (not looking at the purposefully-lessor genies here, but they don’t give me hope for my S3 witches I’ll soon have).

Magnolia Promenade is the only one that is an actual world. Those other locations you mentioned are special lots that can only be accessed if you’re in the related careers. Just like Plumbob Pictures from GF. That also seems to be case here, one actual world and an extra hidden lot.
