I don’t know why they didn’t enable this, it’s totally possible and so cute!

Here’s how to bind a PET FAMILIAR to a child:
– Turn on the CAS.Fulleditmode cheat
– Age up your sim to a teen and exit
– Bind the pet as familiar
– go back into CAS and revert back to child

(It might be necessary to turn aging off before doing this to make sure they stay at the same age, but I’m not sure since I always have it turned off anyway)

Now click on the child, or pet. They can “summon”, “dismiss” and “send to forage”
