I hope (is this rumour ever does turn out to be true) that the expansion pack goes to dirt, so then everyone can stop holding onto this false sense of hope that having a University based expansion pack is going to “save” their games.

Not necessarily, Island living wasn’t officially announced until about two weeks before release. So, there’s still a good chance of this being true.

The HAS to be the pack when the Pool/Snooker table comes in. Hard to believe over 5 years wait for a something as basic as that.

University is definitely a pack I want that I hope adds more jobs and traits with the usual university aspects. I especially want online dating and an attraction system, so my sim can actually pick a partner instead of me doing all the work plus college can be considered a place where you find your lifelong partner. It’d be great if more random events were added to grade school and high school like field trips, prom, graduation with souvenirs and little messages that tell us what’s going on and the “most likely to” votes. I don’t expect to be able to join my kids during any of this. It just adds life and story to my families.

But more than that I need a Generations type pack with more activities for each life stage and a baby and baby appearance update. From a variety of cribs to strollers, changing tables, and more nursery items for the babies and toddlers to enjoy. Dressing up in costumes and playing pretend, first crushes, sleepovers for children, more after school activities. YA and Adults can have bachelor parties and adults can have a midlife crisis.

Oh, and I need a hotel system. *Coughs* There’s just so much missing, even romantic interactions like making out on the couch, bed, woohooing in the shower, slow dancing. There really is so much untapped potential in TS4.

During the early time of surveys (like 2015-2016 if I remember correctly), there was a suggestion of a “Get To School” gamepack primarily focusing on the younger sims. At the time children and teens were only out. However, if this pack truly is ‘University focused”, it would make sense for the gamepack’s release later in time and would also explain their desire to wait since toddlers are also now released.

I’m also still hoping for a milestone/generational/freetime like pack that really gives all of the lifestages (except for YA) a more fulfilling gameplay. I’m losing hope, but hopefully they surprise us…..
