I’m talking specifically about EA currently. TS4 is mediocre, especially compared to the previous 3 versions.

So the complete Sims series is mediocre? The total sells include the whole The Sims Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and console games. A franchise does not get to $5 billion in sells for being mediocre

It’s like no one here understands business. First, The Sims 4 hasn’t sold 5 Billion copies, it’s the entire Sims series, 1, 2 3 & 4 + all the spin offs and ports. Second, while I do agree EA is greedy, it’s not all their fault, the gurus have stated that they made a mistake with the emotion system, that it’s very expensive to code as an animation has be made for each emotion.

Honestly Its not really fair because I really like the sims 4, but I know it could be so much more despite the limitations. EA needs to give the game a bigger budget with all the money that they make.They are starting to lose even the most dedicated fans.
