So people are upset and surprised over a feature hat always existed? Lets be honest, classes and lectures are boring really, especially in a game where your sim just sits there (if they even can do that) and listen to a made up language and constantly have to go to loading loading screens unless held outside near dorms and that is not realistic. Trust me, you will all being complaining about that.

At this rate and what people want, Sims 5 would so watered down and too realistic changing what the original games were like and about that it wouldn’t even be much of a game. For goodness stakes you guys voted for chores and laundry. I no longer trust the community after that.

That was one of the things I don’t get. Sims 3 was open world and yet full of rabbit holes, including classes. They always been rabbit holes. It was still the most boring and unstandble game. So much to do that all the sims did was stand and stare. At least Sims 2 were expressive and unique NPC interactions (like being hit with a purse is you woohooed in public) and can actually go inside stores to shop.

Good. Lectures are boring and you aren’t actually learning and getting anything out of it like you would in real life, so it would just be a boring waste of time (especially if you have to do it all the time in the game). There is a reason why they always been rabbit holes, so they can focus on the things that people actually want to do and the more fun features. Your precious Sims 3 had rabbit holes, even more so for an open world but I guess that is perfectly fine.

Lame. Sims is a SIMulation game, the more stuff you simulate, the better. Again it’s back to EA judging what we deserve to get and all we get is party stuff for YAs.

Oh, so you’re calling the developers pc trashy? Cause they ‘re the ones whp said the game was bugged and easily broke, therefore not being playable in a smooth way even on beast pcs.

Maybe follow your own advice and stop acting lole the twelves from the foruns, you’re not there anymore.

There is much wasted potential in doing active/interactive simulation inside the colleges that they can learn from GTW to apply in UNI to make it less boring.

Eg:
You came early in the classroom and to find early birds as well. Time to chitchat with them, inspect their homeworks, discuss secret society or just clean the whiteboard cos you are a good student. (or maybe put pranks on chairs)

Raise hand and answer question, (only to be ignored by prof cos you’re not their favorite) Build higher relationship with them first!

Mock the teacher or talk to your crush while the teacher is writing on the board. You get a boost in relationship while doing this.

Answer quizzes and exams. Ask your seatmate for answers or peek for answers while the teacher goes out in the toilet. Your choice of seating is a strategy for better cheating. Make sure your seatmates are A+ students. (Of course you cant cheat if you are not friends with your seatmate)

Roam around the college to get your graduation clearance signed by professors.

Join intrams, practice cheerleading, join the choir etc.

Perhaps rabbit holes can still be applied to rooms like visiting the dean’s office, paying tuition in registrar. But you see there is so much that the developers can explore and give us for a 55 dollar pack. I definitely was excited to see the inside of the colleges. But the gameplay video looks like very City Living to me.

A simple solution for players like you is to just have a “don’t follow the sim” option to skip it if it becomes too boring. But for players like us, we want more content and immersion.

Maybe some of us actually do like the game? You have every right to complain about the pack, but don’t say someone shouldn’t purchase and play it just because you think the developers are being lazy.

For those comparing TS3 to this: Sims 3 having rabbit holes was totally okay because you have an ENTIRE WORLD of activities to explore LIVE without any loading screens. TS3 had way more content overall, so having rabbit holes wasn’t a big deal. With the lack of content in Sims 4, how could you even think this is fine? this means EA can continue making similar sh**ty content like this, or even LESS content, and still charge the same exact price! You know why? Because people continue to say “I’m fine with it” or “its not as bad as it seems” and STILL buy the damn game. EA laughs at this nonsense.

Expansion packs are actually 54.99USD in our country and it’s really sad to hear this. If indie developers can make an immersive game with lots of features for a few bucks, why can’t they for an expensive expansion pack?
