I think Get Famous is, ok, but for me without the connections, all the games feel hollow. It would be nice to have some interesting things added but I’ve just accepted I will never be fulfilled by TS4

Sorry super late but I don’t even know anymore. I just want my sims to be more connected and interact together in a real way. For me I’d like a Generations pack, or something, even a hobbies pack. I’d like something that would have the sims interact better together without mods. They are so disconnected. Lovers mean nothing, parents mean nothing, siblings mean nothing, and friends mean nothing, it’s just the relationships in my head and they don’t play out on screen. I’m sure that at this point what I want is a lost cause and even still I’d like to care about the packs that are coming and I don’t. I’d like cars too but it’s not that serious for me to be without them.

Talk about overreacting.
I didn’t talk about real life. Please realise that already. I talk about the GAME. Look at the comments. For every 9 comments that mention knitting for elders there’s roughly 1 that talk about it in a different context. 100 / 10 = 10 * 9 = 90. That’s not a lot of calculating. Nobody says that knitting is an elderly activity. I sew, for example, and I’m 20. I’m saying that the majority of people wanted knitting IN THE GAME for elders, because elders have not much to do that appropriate for them, and knitting is one that is appropriate for elders.

I love Sims 2, too. It’s an aged game by now but there was a lot of love put into it, and I just don’t feel the same is true with TS4.

SMH…attitudes flaring all over the place! lol Knitting is not an elderly thing. I have nieces and nephews ranging from 5 to 18 yrs of age learning to crochet and knit. One of my nephew’s classroom has a crocheting and knitting project making hats and scarves to give to the homeless again for the 3rd year. He’s in the 3rd grade and his class love what they have learned to do and are eager to learn even more. Further more, it is a nice way to get rid of stress, most people who knit/crochet find it to be very relaxing. everything I make I sell just as fast as I get it completed…I get requests daily, especially during football season.
I am glad to see that it will be adding to my game experience regardless of all the negativity flowing. No matter which one won, I’d still be looking forward to it.

90%???!!! So you did a poll or you looked at all the comments and calculated the actual percentage of people who wanted knitting for only elders???
Seriously though, I made that comment because as a crocheter and knitter I see people all the time who don’t seem to realize knitting and crochet is for everyone and not just the elderly. There are people who have never even done it who seem to think it’s this boring hobby only old ladies do and that is not the case at all. I also know that there are some simmers who are realistic players and like to tell stories with their sims – so yeah there will be people who are happy they can have their sims do stuff they do or family and friends do, like knit.
