New = “We didn’t know that the community reversed that part of the engine already. You shouldn’t have noticed the re-tuned controls and overridden namespaces.”
It won’t work = “Five months of hacking will get you about five minutes of gameplay.”
We’d love to = “If you haven’t heard any rumors, then assume that it’s not on any schedule.”
Our hard work = Think of the scene in Cable Guy, where he says “I just wanna be your frieeeeeeeend!”
Inclusive = “We’re including all of the paid and corporate-policy-compliant influencers. Their opinions represent yours, don’t they?”
The fans voted = “Your votes were blocked by our patented robo-trolls.”
Pretty soon = “fughettaboutit”
The fans asked for = “We had to schedule this late due to poor management, but we’ll make it sound like a community offering.”
TS4 outsells TS3 = “We’re spamming our product in foreign countries, where no one knows what quality is.”

This is definitely going to help. My excitement for TS4 has been on it’s very last string…

Exciting – boring
New – regurgitated
It won’t work – see modding community
We can’t – we don’t want to
We’d love to – we don’t like that idea
Our hard work – huh?
Inclusive – exclusive to the majority of you
The fans voted – We at EA chose
Pretty soon – don’t hold your breath
The fans asked for – we had leftovers
TS4 outsells TS3 – we inflated our numbers for our investors
Our new sim guru – we have a high turnover rate
New idea – regurgitated/stolen from modders

I want open neighborhoods. I want Sims to be living life on their lot when you look outside. That’s what I hope the next Sims game has.
