Can these filthy, bloody incompetents do a damn update to make The Sims 2 work on Windows 10 without crashing? There are thousands of people trying to make it work for years, this is unbearable, and I’m not going to play trash of the sims 4, ever!

Maybe they’re still testing. The Sims 2 on Mac is just an app with all the data inside (like normal Mac apps), so maybe they’re trying to do the same?

Just ignore the Apple Apologist everyone.
They’ve been taught that anyone who questions the holy core of Apple is a filthy Power User, and that negative product reviews go directly to the Trash, because there is no Recycle Bin.
This is the new millennia, the Recycle Century. Only unsocial cavemen still use Trash. One would really think that people living in a closed ecosystem would be more environmentally conscious, but Jobsians are indoctrinated to uncritically accept anything put in front of them, as long as it begins with a lower case i.

Maybe its better for the perfomance, macOS have a really restrict write/read permissions so maybe this is to avoid popups that people could think are related to virus or something.

After updating I now have a folder (at 24 GB) in my applications folder named ‘The Sims 4 Packs’ with all of the expansion packs listed. Seems unnecessary to have a folder with files like ‘ClientFullBuild0.package’. Why are these visible now, when they’ve been invisible up until this point? Is this their new location? Why not keep them in /library/application support?

Wouldn’t it be easier to just make a patch that upgrades to a real OS.
Oh wait, Microsoft already made one. They call it Windoze10.
