You say you’re “not throwing more oil on the fire” but then why is everybody who is actually affected by the situation at hand debating with you. You said in your first post that Plumbella is “advocating for vandalism and anarchy” and honestly, I think it’s you that’s the scrutinizing one. I just read Plumbella’s tweet, and I don’t think she was advocating, I think she was empathizing. She understood (or was trying to understand) that you could only poke a bear so much. Now I’m not one for rioting, but emotions are high right now; you disregarding that by saying they’re “bonfire/laughing stock” or “irrational and unhinged” shows just how out of touch and insensitive you are.

If you think I’m misinterpreting everything you said, then maybe you should have said it differently. It’s not like you tried to shed even a little light on why people are rioting in the first place. Instead, you decided to respond in snarky and sarcastic tones that really take away any logical thing you’re trying to say.

By “supporters” who are you talking about; I don’t want to reinterpret anything you’ve clearly said. From the way you’re speaking (or typing) I wrongfully assumed you were American, so I’ll give you a pass. If you’ve read an American history book, riots have caused (and I want to be careful with my words here) a ripple effect. Now I’m not for violence, but sometimes to get a bully to stop bothering you, you need to get rough with them, which is what Plumbella was trying to say.

I would love to end racism, but tell me how does being cynical or sarcastic help. If you feel like you can be cynical or sarcastic to a black person right now, then you need to check your bigotry. I did assume you were white, and I don’t know if I’m wrong or right. All I can say is black people are tired of other races telling us how, and how not, to feel. I never said I wanted other races to be my sock puppets; if that’s how you read it, then you need to read it again. I’m not begging any other races to come out and fight with us, because we can handle it. The support would be nice though, but it’s cool you can sit and complain about the change we’re trying to make. This isn’t the first time black people have stood up against injustice, and it, unfortunately, won’t be the last.

It’s not that I quickly scanned your posts for pandering, it’s more like I couldn’t avoid them. Tone is everything, especially when we’re doing this online. How you talk to somebody face to face is not how you talk to somebody over the internet. You say I’m accusing you of not seeing my pain, but tell me did you actually try. Did you try and put yourself in a black person’s shoes, because to me it looks like you redirected my words back at me. You’re right, I’m not showing any interest to a voice that is not black. If you’re not black you can’t understand and frankly, shouldn’t be talking and before you go “oh, so, because I’m not black I’m not allowed to voice my opinion” that’s right. It’s crazy to me how so many of yall want to have a voice when it’s time to make a change; when the killings are happening, though, its crickets from people like you. You called me a hypocrite but said, “I worry that innocent protestors and people from local communities get hurt or worse” and then said, “I also worry for unwarranted violence against all the cops that are ultimately just someone else’s sons/daughters doing their thankless jobs” even though they’re the ones that started the violence. Even though they’re also killing someone else’s sons/daughters- look, that’s all I’m going to say on that because I know what I am, but honestly, I’d rather be a hypocrite than be selfish.

If there is one thing I can happily agree with you on, it’s that this is a discussion forum, not a therapy group. So, why would you bring such a sensitive topic here? And don’t say “because Plumbella started it” she started it on twitter why are you bringing it here? Were you hoping nobody would call you out on your bull****?

Ooh, it’s in your last paragraph, I think that’s where you hoped I would think I was being roasted. If you thought I was going for you on a personal level, then maybe my comments ticked a nerve. Honestly, I was really trying to be nice. My post was more so to enlighten you because I’m kind of over the ignorance that’s running amok, right now, but you wouldn’t understand. If you felt like I was attacking your skin color, then welcome to a day in the life of a black person. Listen, if my last post didn’t do it for you then stay privileged, unlike ignorance, that’s not a choice, it’s just how you were raised. I would’ve hoped you’d change your tone though, but your colors shined and painted a clown, so stay ignorant, stay privileged, I tried.

I know what you mean. Yes, some people could be a bit less rude and more respectful in the way they word their feedback. And yeah, as I alluded to in my previous post, there are also people who straight up insult or attack the team or other fans/customers, and that is definitely not okay. Best to just ignore those people.
