My game was fine till today june 7th. From june 3rd till today it was running fine. I play my game ALOT i mean i wake up at 7 a.m start playing till 11-12 pm at night off and on of course mostly on and from the 3rd till today around 3 o’ clock it was fine then it starts to crash during travel screen but not everytime seemed to only certain locations or so i thought so i switch save games and play another it starts out fine then it starts to crash so i exit and come back but now i can’t get past where you go into your house or where ever you was last. i can switch to another game file and it seems to load fine but so did my other game and it slowly got worse i don’t feel like playing a game for hours and lose it to corrupt files. Oh and it does this with or without cc or mods.

Mod developers are keeping their communities informed and trying to work with the current game come but non-mod & cc users are having the same issue.

My game was fine until the hotfix. Now it crashes constantly. Doesn’t matter if I try a new save, old save, with or without mods. It crashes s soon as I try to load into a lot. I can create/edit sims and worlds just fine. I just can’t play them after. I’ve seen on the sims forums they are “looking into this” but there is no solution as of yet. Sucks paying several hundred dollars for something I can’t use.

Okay but are saved games crashing with no mods in bcus if so, then it’s a mod issue..

There just came an 3mb update for Sims 4. Hope it’s a fix for those who are experiencing crashes. Since I don’t crash, I cannot test that

It might have been my “luck” but my sims 3 wasn’t even close to being stable. Without mods I couldn’t play any game past 2 in game weeks without it crashing, having lag spikes every three seconds, taking 45 minutes to save and load…Usually when something like this has happened with saves being corrupted or the game crashing they’re pretty quick at getting out a fix. I’m not saying that this isn’t a big problem and they really do need to work better on their testing of patches, but I’ve tested video games before and there are some bugs that honestly won’t show up unless very specific things have happened. Like there was one where the bug didn’t show up for us while testing because the controls we used to test the game were different then the joystick that the end product ended up with. In the instance with the save files not loading, not everyone has been having it happen, and it is possible that the people testing it just happened to not run into the bug. Again I’m in no way defending the team on this, but as someone who has tested video games before, I’m really not surprised that when a patch comes out old bugs come back or new bugs are found because I saw it happen all the time. At least they’re aware of the problem and are working on fixing it, and hopefully as time goes on they’ll work a bit harder on testing these patches. And wow this ended up way longer then I planned, I apologize for the long response XD
