But yeah, quality testing for games in general is not as good as you think it should be. From what I understand studios tend to use very samey builds for testing, which means something that is an issue on AMD won’t be noticed because they all use Nvidia (as an example). There’s also that it’s a very time intensive process, and when you’re a borderline content mill like EAxis you’re not getting the time to be thorough.

This is why we have to push for stuff like extended development time on games, not only to avoid crunch but because there’s a horrid prevalence of patch culture where you throw something out the door to hit a deadline and fix it up afterwards.
