From what I understand, it consists of young women old enough to know better, essentially reenacting a high school sponsored popularity contest with a reality show script. Is that the short of it?
What I do find interesting about this is that Olympus was cancelled mostly because of EA’s DRM nightmare, but also because they had Maxis making TS4 as an online social game instead of an actual life sim. Here we are again half a decade later, with EA and Maxis pushing online social content instead of what passes for their life sim. Thank you executives, we love you.

Again, we hear about plot holes, and inability to follow stories, but there’s NO CONTENT, therefore, NO STORY. That’s what we’ve all been complaining about for six years! The judges have obviously forgotten the point of entertainment, because “Team Gnome” actually made us all laugh, and reminded us of GAMEPLAY. What they refer to as ‘dive in quality’ is what we would all like to remember as ENTERTAINMENT!
