It will be interesting to see how all pack go moving forward. Like… if EPs, GPs, and SPs start to go down in quality & quantity and then kits are released in between, people are going to feel like the kit items are just items removed from the other packs.

Of course, if the other packs continue to have the same # of items and whatnot, PLUS kits adding to that… then yeah, maybe $5 won’t be that bad. And like with all packs, if they don’t have anything you want, no need to buy them.

We’ll find out over the course of the next year to see how things shake out.

I just don’t get it…their whole “goal” with these is to supposedly let us “pick and choose” what we like? Like couldn’t we do that already with EP, GP and SP’s? How are people ok with them trying to further take apart packs and their features and present them as their own individual thing?

And don’t you even dare to compare it to TS3 store.
Yes TS3 store was overpriced as hell, the difference is that we could combat this with the PROPERLY fleshed out packs we got in the meantime. TS4 at its current state is lacking SO much content and its packs already feel empty and broken, kits will only amplify that. I really don’t get who thought this would be a good idea…all I know is that my hopes for TS5 have already dropped below the surface.

That is because the future of their marketing system depends on how well these will be received. If people actually show interest then wave goodbye to the packs we know, and be prepared for them to be replaced by these “kits” aka “overpriced microtransactions”
