I get so many stupid cutting boards laying around my house because everyone wants to use the stove at the exact same time. Can’t you tell it’s in use?! Can’t pick up the crying baby because some other sim three towns over wants to do it but I’m gonna try and use the stove the same time this other sim is! 😀

The problem is that they fix some of the issue and not the whole issue.

I’ve been frustrated and tired of how EA has been taking advantage of the simmer base for a while, but I knew I couldn’t blame it on the community because I know there’s a large portion that are young or new and don’t see it. If you’ve been around since the start of The Sims or even just with TS2, you can understand and see the difference. A lot of the newer generation don’t and their happy with what we have because there’s nothing to compare it too (Yet).
That’s why I’m more annoyed with whoever is in control at EA because their hiding behind the scenes pulling all the strings while the community takes the blame and fall. If I could easily just play Paralives right now or any other life simulator that’s similar to how TS2 was with an open world like TS3 I’d leave instantly.
I couldn’t wait for some competition for TS, they need it. Their very concerned about Paralives and should be, It’s the only thing they seem to listen to and can directly hit whoever is in charge. I’m just patiently waiting for Paralives and help contribute and give feedback on their Patreon til it’s released.

Then proceeds to update the game with some nominal change that could have easily been fixed years ago; most likely we had modders who’d already done the job way back in 2015, but I digress. In reality, and I’m only speaking for myself here, the only thing I want to hear from EA is that the soul of the game is going to be about the enjoyment of the players and not how much EA can steal from its fans via micro-transactions; kits anyone? Honestly, the simmers who’ve been around for more than a decade (or who just totally get it) know full well what EA has been doing, specifically with The Sims 4, and that’s why we’re not buying anything from them. They’ve turned a beloved series into just another spittoon of shallow attempts to garner more cash from us. And all we see is the younger or newer fans just handing their money over to EA not realizing how much they’re being taken for granted. I assure you, historically EA has a long list of of destroying franchises and I’m afraid The Sims is done for. There isn’t any hope for TS5 except from the newer fans and the simmers who are awake to the what’s going on, are waiting on Paralives or something similar. Smh even tho I’ve been done with TS4 for a while, there’s some part of me in that hopes for TS5 to return to the Sims the greatness it once held, but I wouldn’t bet money on it. Not at all.
