I know this may come as a shocker if you’ve been a fan of the Sims franchise for a while and love it so much, but fact is that the Sims gets good reviews, the Sims sells.

As far as EA is concerned, their fans are happy. They are in fact profiting.

And not that it matters, but I’ve been playing since TS1 and I honestly think TS4 is an okay game. Some aspects definitely could use some improvement, but to say it’s a bug riddled game is a stretch. All games have bugs. Sims 4s bugs are rarely game breaking.

Now, if only Sims 4 started on an offline engine optimizer for sim gameplay and not whatever engine they used to make it online, it probably would’ve been a far grander game by now.

Did you play other Sims games or is Sims 4 your first? Does not matter whether its a big company or not, most company’s want their customers at least somewhat happy…happy is how they will keep profiting…I hope Paralives destroys Sims for EA or better yet makes them FIX the game and scares them enough to care.

Garbage disposal isn’t a luxury product. A videogame is lol.
EA is a big, established international company. Wether it’s videogames or something else, those companies want profit. Its not a small indie company whose passion it is to make you happy. It’s corporate.

As long as there isn’t another company making a life sim game within The Sims’ niches, and doing a better job than them, they won’t try to deliver more than what they already put out. That is simply how the corporate mindset works.

Except there’s nowhere to move on to. The Sims is the only game of this genre, there’s no alternatives! We want Sims to be good, but EA has no incentive to make it good with so many people blindly throwing money at it. Being negative is the only way to convince players to be more decisive with their money because the fact is their purchase affects more people than just them.

Also, to help you understand better how we’re forced to buy this product we dislike, imagine living in a town with only one trash company, and it’s a really bad one. Are you gonna tell me to stop complaining and just let the trash pile up in my garage? I have no choice but to use them! Plenty of towns have multiple companies and they all compete by giving cusomers better service because they have the freedom to just leave if there’s bad service. I, however, live in a town with only one, and they hire the most brutish idiots that just throw trash bins all over the place. EA literally banned all purchase and stopped support of Sims 2, refuses to update Sims 3 to 64 bit, and just leaves Sims 4 as the only option that even works. And you’re telling us to move on? To where? Again, only game of its genre.

Or: don’t buy stuff you don’t like. Plenty of people enjoy the game, so let them. I don’t get people who are negative about a product or service, yet insist on buying it, and talking about it lol. Just move on.

Which Sims title is reduced by “up to 89%”? The maximum I see is 75% on the base game, the rest is just the usual 25-50% off.
