That’s a possible factor, too, but not the sole one – you can have sim. lag. even with a couple of sims and a single build in the entire save file. On the other hand, you could have even a hundred Gbs of CC and mods on a potato laptop while setting every graphic setting to full HD, and yet, experience sim. lag. only sparsely after tweaking autonomy and idles via MCCC (at least, this is what happened to me, and it still works wonders).

Simulation lag depends on how many sims are in your region, some neighborhood regions don’t have many so it’s nearly non-existent, but places like Bedrock Strait in Oasis Springs is full of walkbys, living there is a simulation lag nightmare.

Well the sectional fix is DHD but that has no effect on the bugs with the career. Was still annoying though.

I don’t know why they just don’t fix the aggressive Bat flying, all they have to do is disable the automony by simply changing a value from 1 to 0, and just leave it to the player control only, one of most complained bugs, and also it’s the easiest fix of all.

Finally, they are looking into University, they have hardly touched it since release, like Dream Home Decorator, not a single bug fix last patch, and no bug fix coming up.

I’m just so happy that the Doors and Windows in Mirrors are being fixed!! 😀 This makes me so happy because this has been a problem since the infamous Star Wars pack.

Fixing sim. lag. would likely require a huge overhaul of existing spagetti code and the way simulation commands are generated and handled (most obvious to any player are sim autonomy and the gazillion random idles). EA won’t fund that.

The musical chairs situation can be so bad at times (depending on current attempts at officially patching it) that not even mods can fix it half the time!

The rest are a combination of not having enough time/personnel to actually fix stuff (EA is greedy as usual), or just weird design choices that somehow flew under everyone’s radar… like how sims used to go to the most expensive sink all the time instead of the closest one by design.
