Just do yourself a favor, delete your Twitter account and stop looking for things online to get triggered about. You have no idea how much of a disservice you’re doing your maturing process and social functionality by observing the world from the internet with the tiny, hysterical mindset that you appear to have adopted in one of its echo chambers.

I feel like due to it being a cutesy game and it being indie with a following that only want it to be this indie variant of sims 2, many of them are gonna ignore red flags like this and potentially silence those who want to bad chat it.

The reasons why I’m sceptic here is due to despite Paralives’ notable following, only one person reporting anything negative of this scope is pretty strange – this would be all over drama-loving places like Reddit now, even if archived or on the most niché subs if the dev-fueled attacks are indeed true. The second thing is the content your named creator posted on YT according to Lurkit, which seems mostly clickbait to me (i.e. Sims 5 Trailer), and only one video (Paralives Trailer) related to the project. Granted, the Twitch side of things isn’t achived like this, so I can neither confirm nor deny if they talked about it on-stream. I still stand by my opinion that if one person noticed – chances are, they aren’t the only ones.

Fish tanks could be one, doesn’t add anything to the game for some people but to others it adds a story, another pet, a decorative background to their home, restaurant or business in game. Some might even want to make an aquarium or sell them in a store… It’s their vision.

Having to pay bills, no one likes paying bills in RL why add it to a game? Because it brings in realism and a challenge… It makes the game feel more alive having to get a job, budget your money and take care of your home and family.

Same with Burglars… It adds a new challenge or a storyline, you have to make sure your home has a security system to protect your stuff or your family, maybe you can even train your pet to be a guard dog to protect your home, add more depth to the cop career, make the jails more useful, get home insurance in case something is taken or happens it can be covered, could also be a new career…etc.

That’s fun content to others. So stop limiting others imagination on gameplay because YOU don’t see their vision for that idea. We can agree to disagree but to insult others because you lack vision for burglars is selfish and hypercritical, because like I said before we ALL have different playstyles for the game.
