That’s what I like about the experimental food, sims have to go out and eat a dish before being able to cook them.

There’s nothing wrong with adding more recipes to the game, especially more cultural ones, but with the amount of dishes currently in the game, they need to seriously start thinking about a good organization system for them. The endless scrolling list just isn’t workable anymore.

Or better yet, they should make it like Sims 3 where you actually have to buy a book to learn the recipe. Fixes loading times by ignoring unknown recipes and adds some gameplay by needing to go out of your way to learn the recipe.

you are right theyre SO LAZY. new food?!!?! we have 1000000 foods.. this really makes me mad. I wish I can stop caring but theyre ruining the only game I play and love.

Because this requires work, food is easy, just give it a new ID, and link it with the existing eating and preparing animations.

So glad they’re giving yet still more recipes to our overbloated Food menu. Why focus on new and interesting concepts or mechanics like Werewolves, Cars, Vintage Aesthetics Casinos, Renaissance Faires, Horses, Farms, Theme Parks or STEM when our Sims are being denied their divine right to cook Moo Goo Gai Pan?

like pages by level? doesn’t sound like a bad idea, although i think sorting recipes like you do with the dine out menu categories might be good too

I just wish they’d add pages for food menu and stuff. It takes a while for it to pop up when clicking on the fridge to cook something since Cottage Living added a bunch of food. Anyone else getting this? I just wish they’d do pages instead of one long scrolling page. Section it off to ease on load.
