People who live in countries where they banned the game can still technically play it, but they need some workarounds for that, like a VPN or setting their Origin profile to a different region. There’s also the group of people that moved/was born abroad, etc.

It is great anology. USA was colony, part of British Empire. Soo if someone keeps calling USA “A former area of British Empire” instead of USA, that would be an insult. And you are doing exactally that. All these countries have their own names and different laws and traditions than Russia. Soo call them by their names and not by name of something that does not exist for 30 years now. And does not exist anymore for a reason.

Same as calling USA “Former colony of UK”. Mexico “a former colony of Spain”. Or Balkan peninsula “Former Ottoman Empire”. All these countries have their names.
