Maxis has just released a short video on social media telling the backstory of one of the NPCs on the recently released The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack: Roberto Crinkletop.
As many simmers suspected, his story is linked to Agnes Crumplebottom from Henford-on-Bagley (the world from Cottage Living). The video shows how he left her for a life in Chestnut Ridge.
