i personally hate the new career options and wondered what other people thought, i just wished they could have added medicine and politics, business as those were my favorites since Sims 1, hopefully they will add them in in future.

I definitely think that the lack of so called "normal" careers was a big loss. There's what.. 8 careers? However, I feel as though as soon as modders get their hands on the game, we'll have plenty of regular careers in no time. My favourite careers that are available are probably the Tech Guru (simself ;)) and the Cooking. I'd love to be a gourmet chef some day ^-^

I personally do not like it. They sure kept they slogan of weirder stories with the careers. But hopefully maybe they will make a business expansion or something like ambitions to bring back the normal careers.

I like that there are some different ones. I expect I will still play 3 so can play the other ones there still if wanted. I will be curious to see what ones come later. I have preordered it to check out what is new and different, so I like the new options. If I wanted the same things for everything I would just stick with 3.

I like them, actually. I can't say that I was getting bored by the old careers, but they have been around for 14 years now. To me it's a welcome change. Especially since we can't see Sims at work anyway. And my favourite career, the culinary track, is still there, so that's a plus, too... :p

I do like that there is new ones, but I wish they would of incorporated the old as well for more choices/etc.

I do love the teen careers though.

I like the new career options, especially for teens. I've gotten a little burnt out on Sims 3, and ready for something new.
