So I found out that if an elder beds enough times, they will die of exhaustion! (RIP Francis you dog!)

I want to know what other ways you can make your sims die!

That cracked me up! I'm actually being careful so my sims won't die of laughter (I got traumatized with that one demo), specially since I found out both comedy and mischef skills are some of my favorites in the game (#selfprojection).

So, is it easy for sims to die in this game?

No, not really. I made a household to test the emotional deaths. I had set everything up nicely with the right objects and made sure my Sims couldn't distract themselves from what I wanted to do to them. I created the Sims with traits that would push them into a certain emotion faster and after about two hours I gave up on the death by laughter and the death by anger. I managed to get my Sims into the right emotions and my plumbob statue started it's alarm signal (which makes for a very nice lightshow if you ask me :p ), but at that point I always ran out of things to do to my Sims in order to give them that one last moodlet that would kill them.
Death by embarrassment was the only emotional death I accomplished and even that only after I realized that romantic relationships can give your Sims some pretty high embarrassment moodlets.

Even the traditional deaths are harder to accomplish now. Sims don't catch on fire that fast anymore when you put them in a room with a fireplace. Didn't try it with an oven but it seems like they are still pretty good when it comes to avoiding flames as long as possible. And starvation takes very long. I actually never had a Sims starve to death in Sims 3 so I can't compare it but compared to Sims 2 it's extremely long!

WOW! Death by embarrassment? Never thought about that lol!
As for the fire, I've had 3 of them so far, all with the oven, and 2 of my adults caught on fire automatically, but the 3rd one was a teen who didn't catch fire automatically, so maybe teens can't catch fire the same ways as adults? Or maybe that teen was just lucky idk. Yeah I haven't had death by fire, by noticed the sims who did catch fire after I gave them a shower didn't have much of a change in there bars than the other sims in their household- maybe I just reacted really quick? I remember in TS2 and TS3 the bars would fly downwards while on fire.
It sucks that these sims are more resilient if this is the case! Since we can't can't control the ages of them and all!

LOL! My Elder man woohooed his wife and had an Unsatisfied moodlet and was exhausted, so for fun I made him woohoo again and he that Unsatisfied moodlet went away but died. So yeah he really did die happy lol!

I know this is off topic, but I just came down with a sneezing attack while my cat was in my lap. I was sneezing and my cat starting leaning further and further away from me, and in between sneezes he was giving me this disgusted look lol!!:cat::cat::cat::cat:
