I love his reviews, always funny!
I hope my money gets into my account tommarow so I can go out and buy this while the limited edition is still in stores. I am writing a term paper at the moment, so it would be nice to set this up by my computer to be the thing I can play once I finish.
I didn’t by Showtime until July and I was still able to get the limited edition (at Target). I don’t think there’s very much “limit” about the limited edition.
I bought the pets from amazon 3-4 weeks after release, and still got the limited edition.

ea vaulted the items and will be released at the appropriate time according to a sim guru so one will just have to keep checking at ts3 to see if they are there
Yea i’d say seasons is worth getting. Does anyone know if i can type in a cheat and unlock the aliens space suit?
Yea just type in (unlockOutfits on) before going in cas and it will be there. Hope this helps
DDoes this work for Kids costumes in Generations as everyday outfit?

As usual I totally agree with his review.
I must say this EP is somewhat lacking in interactions and new objects and reminds me a bit of Generations. But it doesn’t matter! Having weather makes up for it, especially considering that most stuff from TS2 Seasons like gardening was already included in the base game.
The game is so full of small details like seeing sims breath when it’s cold or the lovely snow, that it’s worth for that alone! Winter is simply amazing!
Now I must say that while the game feels more complete and varied now I really hope new expansion packs focus more on making interactions and gameplay mechanics more complex. I hope University brings more options like new traits, being able to have more traits per sim, a better romance system, etc.
The romance system now is better than the one in the base game, but it is still awful. Sims get attracted for no reason, even if they’re married! I’m sure EA will fix that eventually, but that’s basically what’s missing now from the game. More complex game mechanics… I can’t wait to be able to run my own business and have a restaurant and make the waiters dress like hotdogs!
Oh and yes, the game needs more chairs! Lots of chairs!

I agree with everything you said except about the interactions. I think Seasons has way more new interactions than any of the past expansion packs like Supernatural (if you don’t play occults) and world adventures (if you don’t travel a lot). There’s interacting with the weather, a bunch of new romantic interactions and there’s quite a few sporting activities. I’ve been playing it for the whole day, and I definitely feel like one of the most feature-packed expansion packs yet.
