I’ve been an EA fangirl for quite some time, dating back to SimCity and ClubPogo. I hadn’t jumped on The Sims 3 bandwagon yet so I was excited to review the Katy Perry Collector’s edition of The Sims 3: Showtime.
The first time loading the game I had a few issues. You can’t play the Showtime expansion pack without the base install of The Sims 3 as well. The install took about 45 minutes, without downloading any of the additional content included in the CE. After the initial install, loading the PC version of the game takes FOREVER. I’m not a patient gal and if I weren’t writing this review I’d have walked away from the game before getting any play time.
