The Sims franchise is about to undergo a hairy (and fanged … and winged … and wart-ridden) transformation. EA and its Maxis label will soon release the eighth–yes, eighth–expansion for The Sims 3: Seasons. Set to land for PC and Mac in the U.S. on Nov. 13, Seasons will introduce just what the title implies. But the update also brings about some more … unexpected changes.
The Sims 3 Seasons will see an interesting cross-game collaboration for lucky players that own both The Sims 3 Supernatural, released earlier this year in September, and the upcoming Seasons. This is the Weather Stone, a magical relic with impressive powers that will interact with players differently depending on their current state.
