Guest Post: Simmers Meetup 2015 Announced!

 
Hi Everyone! I’m Dan, the owner of BeyondSims and one of the organisers of the Simmers Meetup. What is the Simmers Meetup? It’s an annual event in the UK where fans of The Sims video game franchise come together to participate in activities, meet other players and much more! The first Simmers Meetup was held on the 24th May 2014 in Hyde Park, London and we never expected so many Simmers to show up and spend the day with us! It clearly identified a demand for an event to celebrate The Sims!
 
We’re super excited to announce that the Simmers Meetup 2015 will be held on the 1st August 2015 in London, England! We took it upon us to gather feedback and we’ve used that to make 2015 bigger and better.
 
New for 2015 we have a venue to host the event, refreshments, all-new activities and surprises. Prepare for a Simtastic day with Q&A panels, gameplay of The Sims 4, opportunities to meet popular The Sims community personalities, and much more which we will be announcing closer to the date.
 
Unlike last year, the Simmers Meetup 2015 will be a ticketed event in order to cover costs. We will have further information about ticket availability and specific venue information in early April.
