SimGuruGraham has finished up a Q&A Session on Twitter. We will continue to add more tweets as they become available.
Sorry, no new radio station in Fitness Stuff. Those earbuds will play anything and everything when it comes to the existing stations though.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
That's a great idea! We didn't do that in Fitness Stuff, but I'm jotting a note down to remember that should it come up again.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
There's a chance your Sim gets blasted by one of the fire jets and catches on fire due to it. Fire climbing is a separate mode on the wall.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Hah, no. We wanted the earbuds to be fairly unobtrusive, so it plays nicely when multitasking with socializing.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Nope. Normal Stuff Pack marketing. We announced early since the pack will be playable at #EAPlay this weekend!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Kids, no. Teens and older, yes. We focused on the older ages since all the game's workout equipment is for those ages. Kids can use earbuds.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
No, Fitness Stuff focuses on three new features… the treadmill rock climbing wall, earbuds, and workout videos.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Yes, they can tune into any radio station. You place them in your Sim's inventory, and use them by clicking on them, or on your Sim.

It's a new version of the corner tub from base game, so no woohooing in it. Mosaic is probably "trailer magic" like you guessed 😉
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Sometime in the next quarter 😉 Our current quarter ends after this month; can't be more specific than that.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Keep in mind the size/price of a Stuff Pack. Fitness Stuff's existence doesn't shut the door on other fitness features in future packs.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
The workout videos are a single Sim interaction – they actually follow along to the workout shown on the TV. No group classes.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
There's a hidden rock climbing skill to help your Sim improve over time. Using the rock wall counts towards your Sim's fitness skill though.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
PlumPods, I like that 😉 Don't recall what I named them off the top of my head.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
You can set record endurance times on each of the rock wall's different climbs. You can then challenge and conquer other Sim's times.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
You unlock new climbing challenge difficulties by completing the previous difficulty level. It isn't gated by the Sim's skill.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
The earbuds have the same interactions as the stereos do, so yes – you can select the radio station, change volume, skip a track, etc.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 10, 2017
Nope, you can socialize uninterrupted while listening to the earbuds.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
No autonomous earbud usage. You decide when you want them on or off. Sims randomly using them during development proved to be annoying.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
You sure can! The earbuds are available in a bunch of different colors.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
It's just a water bottle prop. You can find it in the hidden objects if you want to place it on your lot.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
Some variants of that table that are intended to be a fabric mesh that you can see through, instead of a solid umbrella.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
Nothing new that's food related in Fitness Stuff.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
You order them from the computer. You can place them in your home if you want, but you leave them in your Sim's inventory to use them.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
That's the plan.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
Yes and yes 🙂
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
Nope, they remain on until you tell the Sim to turn them off.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 11, 2017
The rock wall will always show the currently set record endurance time, and the name of the Sim that set it.
