The Sims is replying to tweets today revealing in game effects of Crystals on the upcoming The Sims 4 Crystal Creations Stuff Pack.
As the announcement blog says, “sims can search out Crystals on their computer or pluck them off a Crystal Tree, and once the Crystal is cut into a Gemstone, the jewelry and Gemstones can be charged with the Crystal determining the effect”.

Yibs! Moonstone does affect the occults. Werewolves have 2x Fury decay & 5x Rampage decay. Mages have 0x failure if uncharged & 0.5x failure if overcharged. Vampires also have a slower thirst decay when Moonstone is equipped!
