Just a few months after its first run, The Sims 4 has started a new season of “login rewards,” offering multiple items that players can get for free by simply entering the game. Interestingly, though, they are the very same rewards as before from the “Happy at Home” event.
Fellow simmer Crinrict, a “hero” on the EA Help forums, reports that the game instructs players to claim their items even if they already did so during the first run, but doing so doesn’t remove the old ones. Additionally, the rewards are still tied to the usersetting.ini file, not the player’s EA App account.
This is a good opportunity for users who couldn’t claim their rewards the first time to get them now for free. However, if you already have them, all you get is an annoying pop-up when you open the game.
