EA has just released a small patch for The Sims 4, bringing consoles up to date with the latest game update and also delivering a few bug fixes.
Just as importantly, The Sims Direct Communication revealed on Twitter that the weather indoors bug will finally be fixed on the next update (expected for July 1st).
Thank you for your patience while we investigated the Rain Indoors issue. We’re happy to share that we’ve identified a fix that would address this in the next update, and will confirm via the upcoming Laundry List.

If you have auto updates enabled in Origin’s “Application Settings”, the game will auto-update once you open Origin. If you have auto-updates disabled, you will need to manually update by clicking the game in your library.
To ensure your game is up to date, check the game version found in Documents > EA > The Sims 4 > GameVersion.txt. Your game should now read: PC: 1.115.253.1020 / Mac: 1.115.253.1220 / Console: 2.13
