For those of you who do have Hidden Springs and have noticed a lack of animations and “glitters” from the Fountain of Youth (and spell book), need to know that there is an issue with Premium Content conflict.
We all know the Sims team will probably never fix this issue (what else is new) and more so because of their newest updated Simpoint/Digital Services Agreement you have to abide to.

EA is basically letting us know they never have to fix anything we purchase. Basically they can give you a flippin virus and it is not their problem. *%&$*@! They have yet to fix the binning issue of the Romanza set (bridesmaid dresses being selected by default for maternity wear), the Flute Forward Dress (cut off leg), and countless other items.
For Pete’s sake, wouldn’t they want to fix it to keep players happy? Why waste more money fixing the crap they gave us to begin with, when they can easily escape with a paragraph of “no liability”?. 🙄 I’m still waiting to see when the Store Patches page comes to use.
Anyway, back to the point of this post. You have 2 choices (unless a mod comes out to fix it).
1) Uninstall the Spellbook which is listed separately in the launcher
2) Uninstall Hidden Springs completely as the FoY is not listed separately.
So here you have it folks, to keep your Spellbook working (which is more fun imo) you need to uninstall a $25 dollar world. Otherwise you can keep the FoY in your game (which has the same functionality as the flipping young again potion), and rid the Spelbook. This will help bring back the Animations and “glitters” this object offers.
Who knows if more fun content comes out in the future that will conflict with the FoY. If EA doesn’t care to keep their customers happy, why keep their wallet happy.
