EA is doing a great job keeping players in the dark as far as The Sims 4 goes, but it has started to make some people think the game will be delayed, or even cancelled. This is not the case. According to SimGuruGraham, the release window for The Sims 4 is still the same.
Keep in mind that The Sims 4 was pushed into EA’s 2015 fiscal year – which begins April 1st, 2014 – so that means any and all marketing for The Sims 4 is not likely to start until then. The Sims 3 is still going strong as far as the store is concerned, so they will continue to market the current series.
@FallenEvArmy No worries. The Sims 4 will release in Fall 2014, the same release window we've shared for some time now.

@FallenEvArmy Nothing new for me to share on that front. Rest assured we'll make a lot of noise when the time comes.
