The Sims Team has taken to answering some question on Twitter for the upcoming Kids Room Stuff Pack announced just earlier today for release next Tuesday.
Mayzie Grobe was from Seasons; it's one of my favorites as well. It isn't in Kids Room though, this SP has its own new music.

.@uninvitedn There's going to be a separate blog later this week about the monster under the bed – it's coming in the update for everyone =)
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
There will not be a game update today, but it will release prior to the launch of Kids Room.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
No; I don't add hints. The content in this pack is definitely intended to be more mature than the base game kids furniture.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Yes, there's a new radio station as well as a new TV channel. Check out today's blog for more info: https://t.co/JG2FFtKdal
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 22, 2016
Not sure I can answer that yet; happy to take questions on it when I verify it's ok though.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
It's common for kids to like things that are a bit older than them; this pack plays on that idea as base game kids skewed young.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Sure – the rare cards are worth more (more info in another blog later this week!) 😉
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Yup, you can trade Voidcritter cards with other kids in the neighborhood. It's the best way to get rid of a dupe 😉
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Adults have ways of acquiring the Voidcritter cards for collection purposes, but actually playing the game is just for the kids.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
I love that there are twenty different monsters to collect; each fun and distinct with its own lore.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
You'll also see a few MySims show up in the Voidcritters cartoon on the TV 🙂
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Bunk beds are not included in Kids Room Stuff, no new floor tiles, and yes there are new hairs for boys.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
.@SimGuruHulk It's just a way to help customize a kid's room – they come as an option on some of the new furniture.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Sorry no, they aren't customizable beyond the variants that come in the catalog. The variants do offer a few photo options.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
You can't place photos on the shirt; that's just a fun boy-band fan shirt that comes in Kids Room Stuff 🙂
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Tune in to BEtween TV 😉
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
12 different variant options for the bed.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Sorry, no carpets in this one. Walls/floors fit into the larger packs a bit better; they eat into our asset count on SPs more.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
.@hernameispekka @SimGuruHulk That dresser has a plain version as well. Most of the furniture has plain variants as well as kids patterns.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
They're exclusively for kids. We wanted to focus everything we could in the pack to really expand the options for kids.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Adults can participate in some of the additions like the new radio and TV stations, but this pack is really catering to kids.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Yup, adults will watch along, clap, cheer, and generally enjoy the puppet show – they're fun!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
.@Sweet_Italy3 @flpamaral07 Yes indeed, there are new Get Together club rules added for the monster battles and puppet theater in Kids Room!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
.@Howdy_Simmer Five different shows that can be performed as kids raise their social skill, with different puppets and backdrops.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
.@Howdy_Simmer Five different shows that can be performed as kids raise their social skill, with different puppets and backdrops.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
Someone asked me about that before; I'm not familiar with it. It isn't related to Kids Room Stuff.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 21, 2016
it is actually called Coolala 🙂
— Nad J (@SimGuruRusskii) June 21, 2016
Pekesims asked what the names of these monsters were:
The answer by SimGuruRusskii was (from left to right) Meduso, Yorier, and Kampos.
We’ll keep updating the post with more Twitter tidbits as they become available! What are you most excited for in The Sims 4 Kids Room Stuff?
UPDATE: MORE TWEETS
.@ZerbuTabek The graphics on the battle station change depending on the cards you play with… it's getting its own blog later this week 🙂
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 22, 2016
You can place it at other venues and perform shows away from home, yes.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 22, 2016
The happy/sad reaction you described is how they react as the game ends, but they get a variety of emotions from the outcome.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) June 22, 2016
.@JamesTurnerYT Going to be changing my avatar a bunch over the next few weeks; have a lot of cute Kids Room icons I want to share 🙂
